The Grotto Book is a documentation of the creation and building of the Grotto at The Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Home of the Archdioceses of Detroit.

This project was performed by Grunwell Cashero Company of Detroit, Michigan.
I was asked to photograph the various stages and create a hardcover book.
The result is a 50 page book with approx. 1500 words and over 75 photos and illustrations.

The Grotto was designed by John O’Connor at Metropolitan Stone, of Carlton, Michigan.
Site preparation, assistance in design, preconstruction and final installation was made by
Grunwell-Cashero Company of Detroit, Michigan.
Grunwell-Cashero contributors included Scott Cashero, Todd Nancarrow, Cesidio Casamatta, and
skilled trade craftsmen representing several Detroit construction labor organizations.
